The Stench of Corruption

I WAS GRATIFIED to see the editorial highlighting the importance of the California Clean Money and Fair Elections Act (AB 583) passing in the state Assembly ("Hancock's reforms looking good").

As noted, not long ago few in this state thought this legislation "stood a chance." But the stench of corruption has been wafting its way out here from our nation's Capitol, and our state legislators are finally responding.

Let's hope our own hometown president pro tem gets a whiff of what's blowing in the wind and leads the way to seeing this bill through the state Senate as well.
