![]() Good for Valley
Re "Stein resigns from Airport Commission" (April 7): Good riddance. Ted Stein, acting on the mayor's behalf, has thwarted efforts to make Van Nuys Airport a quieter place since Hahn took office years ago. All these people supporting James Hahn have done is look at the money, never the voters who want a quieter community to live in. We need two things in the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles: clean elections and a mayor who listens and acts to support the residents bothered by aircraft noise and not just the jet and helicopter industry that creates so much noise pollution. Perhaps it's time for Hahn to leave, too.
